The film then gives us glimpses into her past, as we first see Matsuko back in the 1970s as a popular high school teacher at the local junior high school. Memories of Matsuko is a heartbreaking tale like no other, centering on the life of Kawajiri Matsuko (Nakatani Miki, from Densha Otoko), a dedicated, entirely hopeless romantic on the lookout for her very own Prince Charming!
